Carol Service for the Eve of the First
Sunday of Advent
Blessed be the Hour
Time
- the great fifth dimension -
in time can we live and move,
we are not statues in an exhibition. When this
moment has passed
you will never get it back!
This
Carol Service for the eve of the First Sunday of
Advent
is born out of the prayer of St Colette: Blessed
be the hour.
Blessed be the first hour
when time was created,
blessed be the moment
when life came in to being,
Blessed be the Hour when Jesus Christ true God
and true man was born -
and blessed be the hour
I began to live.....

Mass for the Feast of the Presentation
and the Blessing of St Colette
As
Holy Mother Colette’s feast falls on Ash
Wednesday this year, we are including her
blessing in the Mass of the Presentation of our
Lord in the Temple
St
Colette is the Patron of the unborn, of
expectant mothers, of would-be parents and of
your little sisters at Ty Mam Duw. Come and join
us on this date for a very special Millennium
Celebration, which will include the possibility
for all, of an opportunity to be blessed with a
relic of Holy Mother Colette.
The
blessing especially includes expectant mothers
and would-be parents who wish to pray for the
grace of conception and sick and handicapped
children. This very ancient tradition dates from
a miracle performed through Mother Colette
during her life; when she restored a stillborn
child to life by wrapping it in her own veil.
But
you don’t need to be a mother - or a baby - to
come and celebrate this great saint - everyone
is welcome!
